Options for Working Parents is a non-profit program. With the most comprehensive computerized database of licensed child care providers in Rhode Island, we offer detailed provider information to you, as well as counseling on a wide range of child care issues.
How our program works
Options for Working Parents is designed to assist you in your search for child care. We are a referral service, providing lists of child care options available in Rhode Island. This website provides you with information to help you evaluate various types of child care and assess the quality of services available.
Our goal is to empower you through information to find the child care provider that's best for your family. The ultimate decision about that provider is yours.
Options for Working Parents cannot warrant information concerning any providers. We do not license, endorse, or recommend any particular provider or can we assure you that any provider gives quality care. Please refer to the individual provider certification or program license copy and the child care regulations available at the RI Department of Children Youth and Families, Child Care Licensing Divison.
