Child Care Expo 2007
Options for Working Parents, Prevent Child Abuse RI, Dr. Day Care Child Development and Johnson & Wales University we would like to take this moment to thank everyone who participated in the 2007 Child Care Expo. Working together to plan, develop and host the first inaugural business services and resource fair for early care and education programs in Rhode Island was a meaningful experience.
One of our goals for the Child Care Expo was to provide an opportunity for the business sector and child care providers (both center-base and family child care homes) to come together and discuss the needs of the early care and education field. We are confident that the dialogue that took place during the Child Care Expo resulted in new relationships and partnerships between the child care community and the business community.
Another very important goal was to utilize the exhibitor fees to create and sustain a Professional Development Opportunities Scholarship Fund for the early care and education field in Rhode Island. This was also proven to be successful.
